Summer Nights

Downtown Des Moines is known for its skywalk system as well as multiple, recognizable buildings that grace the skyline. Merging multiple vantage points, this piece highlights buildings from different angles against a brilliant sky seen as summer days turn into nights.

The angle on the intersection anchoring the right side is especially unique as it is the view from up in the air on the lift as Ben worked on his large scale “Des Moines” mural on the side of the Renaissance Savery Hotel.
